Susquehanna Shakespeare Festival 2010 Season

We are proud to present our second season of plays, please refer to the calendar below for dates and events.

January 2010, The Vagabonde 12th Night

SSF 12th NiteShakespeare's delightful holiday celebration of love and gender, adapted & directed by Tania Myren with: Liz Nowrey playing the twins Viola & Sebastian, Steve Tipton playing the Duke Orsino & Antonio, Kate Hughes playing a Sea Captain & the countess Olivia, Kaziah
Myren-Zobel playing Valentine & Maria, and Dan Traynor as Feste

Performances will be: January 1st, 2nd and 3rd- admission FREE!!

The Vagabonde Romeo and You Know Who
has been adapted from Shakespeare's classic tale of love and death,  Romeo and Juliet, and directed by  founding artistic Director Tania Myren with a contemporary comedic twist.
The boredom of the dog-days of summer erupts into passion!  Passion of every sort- love, laughter and sword-play presented with a fresh cutting edge, sensibility.

Where: Danville Memorial Park, Danville, Pennsylvania.  Alternate venue in case of rain- Grove Presb. Church, opposite the park.  BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!

October 2010 Scary Shakespeare: Something Wicked This Way Comes

SSF 12th Night, Liz Nowrey as Viola/Caesario

Witches, Ghosts, blood and gore galore!  An original adaptation of one of Shakespeare's
scariest plays, The Vagabonde MacBeth, adapted and directed by Tania Myren

Performances will be Oct. 9th & 10th, and 16th and 17th.

Where: memorial Park in Danville, Pennsylvania.

November 2010, Festival New Play Series: White Bird, by Tania Myren
